Site Details

A small and attractive bay at the northwestern tip of the Dingle Peninsula. Depending on the state of the tide, good numbers of gulls and waders may be found either roosting or feeding here — Glaucous and Iceland Gulls are regular here in winter, while a range of Nearctic shorebirds have been noted in September and October.

The bay can easily be viewed from the minor road, signposted to the golf course from just west of Ballyferriter village. There is room to park one or two cars at c.Q33140521.
