Site Details

Waterville is a typically-charming Irish town, situated on the east side of Ballinskelligs Bay. Popular with golfers who play on the nearby links golf course, the town itself holds relatively few birder opportunities, although waders and gulls (including regular Mediterranean Gull) can be found along the seafront in winter. Offshore, hundreds of scoter may be seen, with smaller numbers of divers, auks and other seaduck.
