Site Details

A small estuary on the south side of the Iveragh Peninsula, which attracts small numbers of wildfowl, waders and gulls outside the summer months. Despite high potential, the site has rarely (if ever) been explored in autumn, and a September visit — particularly following an Atlantic weather system — could well produce Nearctic shorebirds.
