Site Details

Although not as productive as Carrahane Strand to the north, Barrow Harbour still attracts good numbers of wildfowl, waders and gulls outside the summer months, and a visit is usually worthwhile. A range of rarities recorded include Black Duck and Terek Sandpiper.
