Directions
Portavoe Reservoir is situated in a small area of woodland adjacent to the main A2 at Orlock between Donaghadee and Bangor. From Belfast by the A2 via Holywood towards Bangor. Join Bangor Ring Road turning right towards Donaghadee. Continue on the Ring Road as far as the Groomsport roundabout (fifth and last roundabout). Turn right towards Donaghadee on the A2. The reservoir is about 4 km along this road. Cars may be parked on the hard shoulder of the A2, but are not allowed into the waterworks grounds.
