Site Details

At 752 m (2,467 ft), the summit of Plynlimon is the highest point in the Cambrian Mountains. The mountain is also the source of the rivers Wye and Severn.

Directions

The usual ascent is from the car park at SN796840&ar=y on the A44 between Llangurig and Aberystwyth. The route from the car park to the summit is just over 2 miles and involves an ascent of around 1,000 ft. Normal mountain precautions advised.
