Description
The weir on the Aire, as viewed from the north side of the river. The orange boom, at the Ferrybridge side of the weir, is often a gull roost, and cormorants use it as their drying area. Wheelchair access to this area and towpath only via the Kings Mills bridge over the canal from Knottingley. (High vegetation in mid summer can hinder river views.)
