A cul-de-sac estate surrounded by the River Wey. The estate has 2 weirs, a stretch of river, an area of marshy woodland with a stream running through it and a very small grassland area with dense bramble thickets.Contact Details

Along Cateshall Lane near Farncombe boat house.Access
Strictly no parking on the estate. There is a path round the estate which takes in all the habitats. The starts to the footpath are the other side of the road to Farncombe boat house and a metal gate opposite the old derelict mill.Parking
NO PARKING ON ESTATEKey Areas / Routes
In the weirs on the estate there are breeding Grey Wagtails and just nearby Kingfishers. In the woodland there are breeding Fox, Badger, Grey Wagtail, Great Spotted Woodpecker and Green Woodpecker, Nuthatch, Treecreeper, Little Owl, Chiffchaff, Blackcap, Jay, Pheasant and most other common woodland species. On the river there are more Kingfisher, Mallard, Moorhen, Mute Swan and sometimes other ducks and geese. Along the footpath there are many gardens which have all the common garden birds and can provide close-up views of species like Song Thrush and Great Spotted Woodpecker.Did you know that you can submit photographs to be included in this sites image gallery?
