Site Details
The RSPB's premier nature reserve, covering over 930 hectares (2,300 acres). The current bird list includes 332 species, with over 230 recorded annually and 85-100 breeding regularly.

Directions
The reserve is best reached from Westleton. At the north end of the village, leave the B1125 east on a minor road towards Dunwich and after half a mile turn right and follow signs to reserve. Signposted from A12 and Westleton.Access
Charge for non-RSPB members.Opening Times
Reserve open 9 am to 9 pm (or dusk if earlier). Visitor centre open 9 am to 5 pm February to October (until 4 pm rest of the year). Closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day.Facilities
Car park, picnic area, tearoom, toilets with adapted facilities for disabled visitors, shop, binocular hire.Site Photographs
