Site Details
Lowland peat bog and heath, currently in a state of regeneration after much milling, resulting in many expanses of open flooded peat. This combined with a span of gravel pits down the east side provide habitat for a good variety of species. Adjecent fields also attract owls, harriers and a most typical farmland birds.
