From Deepcar (Stockbridge) on A6102 head up Carr Road to Bolsterstone; keep right after the Village Hall and follow the road downhill (ignoring left turning to Ewden). The road passes above the northern side of the reservoir to Broomhead Bridge at its head; just past this point a lane to the right follows the southern shore.


View from adjacent roads and permissive paths (which circumnavigate the reservoir, including the dam).
