Site Details

This unique little town is set around the River Bain, in a shallow valley, at the foot of the Wolds. There are two nature habitats, but are very hard to locate. One is by the Horncastle Swimming Pool and the other is near the turning onto the B1183. There are no specific birds that are specialities in Horncastle.

Directions

From Lincoln, go on the A158 to Skegness. When you reach Crowders Garden Centre, you are on the edge of town.

Parking

There is free parking, on the turning to 'The Wong' street, off the A153. There is also pay-and-display parking around town.

Facilities

Public toilets just north of the town centre. ADAR toilet.
