Site Details
Gibraltar Point lies in the northwest corner of the Wash, where the Lincolnshire coast turns southwest. Owned by Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust, the site is home to a Bird Observatory and thriving Study Centre. It is an SSSI, being the largest area of salt-marsh in Great Britain and it is still expanding. Be warned, the sea, on some days, comes in faster than you can run!
