Site Details

Deeping Lakes NR (formerly known as Welland Bank Pits) is a Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust nature reserve on the south Lincolnshire border near the town of Deeping St James.

From the A1 at Stamford, take the A16 east to Market Deeping. At Market Deeping take the B1525 through the village. On the other side of Deeping St James take the B1166 for Crowland. Follow this road over the railway crossing until it takes a sharp left at a bank. Go through the gate at the entrance (TF187082) and follow the track along for 400m to the car park - do not park beyond that point.


Single car park, approx. 400m along the track from the entrance at TF187082. Do not park elsewhere.


Three hides and a car park as well as information boards.
