Lincolnshire Trust; 65-acre lake with vast reed bed and willow scrub. One mile west of Lincoln city centre; specialities include wintering Bittern for the last 21 years.

Directions

From Lincoln High St: head west down Dixon St, cross bypass onto Valentine Road and follow down to the Superbowl car park. Head west over railway following dirt road for 1 mile; cross footbridge - reserve is right in front.

Members only, but warden allows visitors at all times.

8-man concrete hide.

Key Areas / Routes

Hide overlooks lake and reeds; best area south bank has few gaps overlooking lake to the north which overlooks Lincoln Edge migration funnel.
