Site Details
The site is owned by the Forestry Commission and managed by Forest Enterprises. The site is a collection of conifers from around the world and is home to up to fifty Hawfinch, plus many other woodland birds.

Turn off the A21 onto the B2079 towards Flimwell; the entrance to the Pinetum is a short way down on the right.Access
Entrance fee of £1.50. Seasonal opening hours: OPEN AT 10am CLOSING AT DUSK.Parking

One hide at far end of forest. Toilets, visitor centre/shop in car park.Key Areas / Routes
The forest is laid out with markers to take you around the various breeds of conifer tree. The Hawfinch is best seen in treetops to left of marker 15; the roost is at TQ720338.Did you know that you can submit photographs to be included in this sites image gallery?
