An RSPB reserve featuring mixed wetland habitats, including readbed, lakes and meadow. Situated in Hoddesdon (near Ware) off the A10, 6 miles north of the M25.

Directions
2 miles/3 km from A10 and 6 miles/9.5 km north of M25 (J25) in Hoddesdon. Follow sign for Rye Park into Rye Road. Rail - Rye House 300 yards/275 m. For timetable information, see the Railtrack timetable. Bus - regular service - 500 yards/460 m.Access
Charge for non-RSPB members. Adult – £2.50, child – £1, concession – £1.50, family – £5Parking
Free, outside gate.Opening Times
Daily 10am-5pm (closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day).Facilities
Six hides, five of which are accessible to wheelchairs. Closed-circuit TV on Common Tern colony and Kingfisher bank during the breeding season.Site Photographs
