Description
Ringed as a nestling in Poland in 2011, he was injured in a collision with a power line in Poland in 2014 and was sent to Shorelands in Norfolk for treatment in the same year. By 2015 he was able to fly again and escaped in early 2016. He was at Welney in Feb, Lyng in March and has been in Herefordshire since June apart from a brief spell at Slimbridge in July. He has been living wild and completely unsupported since arriving in the county and behaves like a wild bird. He is not confiding, except for roosting on the roofs of occupied houses.
