Description
Wood ducks are often viewed as escapes, but the Collins guide says they do occur naturally from America, but are very rare. This duck had turned up in the Oldham Park from unknown origin, he is in pristine condition and has no rings and no other evidence to even suggest that he escaped from anywhere. So therefore its all down to personal opinion as whether they view it as a wild tick or not.
