Description
Adult Common Tern feeding recent fletching. Adult has been hunting at Connaught Water since late June. The fletching arrived around 11 August.

Site Details

Lake created in the last century when gravel was extracted for road building. Several islands. Surrounded by woodland of Epping Forest. Heavily visited including dog-walkers.

Circular walk round lake. Paths off into woodland at various places and access to Chingford Plain.
