Site Details
The site is owned by Southern Water with an Advisory Committee responsible for conservation management. The west end of the Reservoir is a Local Nature Reserve of 132 hectares. The whole of the site has been an SSSI since 1966. East Sussex CC is responsible for conservation work helped by the Friends of Weirwood.

Directions
First turn left from the A22 after junction with A275. Car park to reservoir is approximately three miles west along this minor road with a crossroads about halfway along. There is no public transport service to the site.Access
Access is by a hidden entrance but with signing at the entrance. The car park is flat with a viewing area suitable for disabled and wheelchairs. Small hide next to car park also accesible to wheelchair users. Open all hours.Parking
Car park at western end of site; no fees are charged.Opening Times
Never closed.Facilities
One hide and car park; no other facilities.Key Areas / Routes
Large expanse of water in front of the hide with views towards the eastern end and centre. Osprey Tower within view of the hide.
