Site Details

Upper Tamar Lake is the less interesting of the two lakes, although there is a special bird reserve area at the northernmost end, a walk of approximately 1.5 miles from the car parking area. This lake was opened in 1978 and is used to supply water to nearby Bude and Stratton. It is used for watersports and angling.
