Site Details
One of the best sites for birdwatching in Peterborough, Ferry Meadows offers a fine variety of birds throughout the seasons. Spring and autumn sees migrants such as warblers, chats, terns, gulls and waders passing through, while good numbers of wildfowl - particularly Tufted Duck - can be encountered in winter. Scarce and unusual species are regular, particularly at times of peak migration.

The public car parks are off Oundle Road, Peterborough, or just off the A47 at Castor/Ailsworth. Parking charges only in summer.Access
