Site Details
Just outside Bolbourne near Tring. College Lake consists of 40 ha of a disused chalk quarry owned by Castle Cement. Consists of a lake with island and wetland, woodland and grazing. Very good site for butterflies and flowers. Some rare orchids.

Directions
From the A41 just north of Tring, take the B488 for 2 miles east to Bulbourne. The entrance is 300 metres after the canal bridge.
Access
Belongs to Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust. The reserve is open daily between Tuesday and Sunday from 10:00-17:00 in summer and 10:00-16:00 in winter. It is also open on Bank Holiday Mondays.
Parking
Parking and entry are free, however a donation is requested.

Hides and toilets. Visitor Centre with a cafe.
