Dave Gosney’s Finding Birds in ... series of booklets covers the best areas for birding in a given region, with detailed hand-drawn maps and comprehensive directions to the top sites. One of his new titles looks at Estonia.

It would be very hard not to find birds in this country, given that it has some spectacular migration and an abundance of breeding birds, but having the booklet would be of great use for pre-trip planning and also while in the country.

The accompanying DVD is a scene-setter and gives a nice overview of what to expect from each site, rather than being a comprehensive guide
