Birds in Bhutan

f122e89f-e6a6-4f87-ad5f-6b98b54ba1a0

Bhutan boasts a wonderfully diverse avifauna, with a national list of 645 bird species – an extraordinary number for a land-locked and relatively small country. No wonder it tops many well-travelled birders’ lists of favourite destinations.

Those who know it will particularly appreciate this new atlas, which gives the fullest picture of the population, distribution, and seasonal and altitudinal movements of the country’s birdlife ever published. The book will also be much valued as a resource for conservationists working with birds and their habitats in Bhutan.
