New additions to BirdGuides news team
We're pleased to announce that Miles Cluff and Andrew Kinghorn have joined the BirdGuides news team.
Both have made great starts to their time as news operators and will bring a range of skills to the role. We are sure all of our customers join us in welcoming Miles and Andrew to the BirdGuides fold and you can expect to hear more from them in the coming months.
A recent university graduate, Miles is a well-known Nottinghamshire birder, a keen local patch-watcher and an accomplished bird artist. He has a particular interest in gulls. You can follow him on Twitter here.
The Buckton Green Warbler (Miles Cluff).
Andrew is based in Durham and a well-known North-East birder with a passion for rare species and migration. He’s been birding for 15 years and is also an ornithological consultant and tour guide. You can follow him on Twitter here.
News Manager Sam Viles said: "I'm very pleased to have these two on board. Miles is one of the leading lights of latest generation and I'm delighted to have secured his signature. Andrew is an experienced birder who has already made a brilliant start on the news team. Both are excellent, experienced field observers and their skills are well suited to the day-to-day requirements of a bird news shift."
Miles and Andrew join David Campbell, Dan Owen and Alan Tilmouth on the news team, with Jonathan Farooqi moving on to pastures new. We'd like to thank Jonny for his great work while with BirdGuides and wish him all the best for the future.
