Buzzard shooting caught on video
A Common Buzzard was videoed as it was shot out of the sky by an unknown perpetrator in Kent in October, the RSPB and Kent Police have revealed.
The attack occurred on the boundary of the RSPB's Northward Hill reserve, east of Cliffe and north of Rochester, on 10 October.
A video shows the bird in flight over fields and hedgerows before a shot is clearly heard and the bird tumbles from the sky. The footage can be seen in the tweet below.

A witness filmed the moment a buzzard was shot out of the sky on the boundary of the RSPB’s Northward Hill reserve, Kent.

As with all birds of prey, Common Buzzard is fully protected by the law and it is an offence to shoot and kill the species.
