I wasn't going to post anymore shots from my recent trip but as it's topical today I have added one last shot ! Photographing birds on and around the nest can indeed lead to huge disturbance and it's equally applicable to overseas as it is in the UK. These Flycatchers were nesting in the mast of a tugboat in Manaus docks so they regularly went on a trip around the river to greet new arrivals. We actually saw them fledge too which was brilliant. The shot was taken from our ship moored next to the tug and the birds are obviously bombproof.
