I used to take my pictures using jpeg format only, but, only in recent years have I come to know the value of using RAW files. The picture can be adapted to as if change camera settings without loosing quality. I'm no expert in this field - in fact I'm far from that as I only understand the basics, but enough to correct mistakes or when I need to adjust the settings as best I can. This enables me more flexibility than what I used to do when I only had jpeg files. The only catch is that it takes me a while to sort out my favourites and this redwing picture is one I've recently found and sorted and is one of my own favourites.
