Meet Angela with her telemetry antenna this is so cool and interesting, especially when you put the mileage on the detail of Angela's journey, she definitely liked hanging around the Baoule river then tracking the river down to a large wooded area in the Koulikoro region. I had no idea that a Turtle Doves journey was so extensive, she was just south of Senegal and Gambia and just short of Sierra Leone and Liberia, that's amazing this information thanks to John Badley at RSPB Frampton Marsh who was able to give me the tracking information to my image. I found out that she only arrived last Friday and I photographed her on Sunday, this info really completes the image in a way that no camera can capture. the link to the tracking information if you are interested can be found at the link below. http://www.rspb.org.uk/birds-and-wildlife/multimedia-and-discussion/satellite-tracking/turtle-doves/index.aspx.
