The difference between Little Tern and Saunders's Tern is very little.thats why it is much difiicult to identify from distance. here I had try to give idea of differences 1 Saunders's Tern Little Tern black of forhead is spread much towards beak black is not much towards beak and eyes are within the black portion and eyes are within white 2 beak is not much with heavy black heavy black at the tip of beak 3legs are yellowish legs reddish 4 primaries wing feathers are broad black not so broad and sharp 3 to 4 feathers.
