Myrtle Mayhem – Six Image Sequence - I have enjoyed watching the behaviours of the Myrtle Warbler that has taken up residency in Kilwinning, Ayrshire. He has become very territorial chasing the small birds around, this little Blue Tit landed on a washing line and Myrtle Warbler flew down to chase it off. The Blue Tit loosened its grip and swung upside down, but in doing so grabbed the right leg of the Myrtle. That’s when it all kicked off, the Myrtle firstly pooped on the Blue Tit then spun round aggressively causing the Blue Tit to release its grip and was left hanging by one leg. The Myrtle then stomped on the Blue Tits other foot, which the Blue Tit nearly fell off the line but quickly changed its grip. - Still present since first spotted 40 days ago, hoping he stays local to see the completed moult transformation.
