Field ID pointers (vs Arctic Warbler) visible here include: the more ‘cute’ head shape, with broadly flaring supercilium behind eye extending forward to area over the bill, the reduced dark loral ‘spot’ in front of eye, and the uniform (not speckled) ear coverts, plus, on the wings, the short pale greater covert bar and the relatively short-looking primary projection (longer in Arctic). The fresh-condition flight feathers suggest that the bird’s age is first-winter.
