Spent four hours with the bird and it preened for the majority of that time, using the oil gland located on the rump to waterproof its feathers, during this time, it threw its neck high into the air as though displaying? the lower mandible creating the above shape, very impressive.

Digiscoped with Kowa 884 scope, 25-50 W/A zoom eyepiece, Panasonic GH4 Camera with 20mm f1.7 pancake lens, plus adapter.
