This 1st winter was showing well when I went to see him. The tail at this time has already turned black, and over the rest of winter, the rest of him will gradually change. A beautiful bird to find in any case! After a few minutes hanging around the other common starlings, he soon chased of the others to spend the rest of the day on his own.
