Although we see dozens of gannets offshore on a daily basis, they are usually distant passers by (on route to, or from, the breeding colonies near Alderney). This individual spent much of the afternoon diving between Fort Le Merchant and Fort Doyle. Absolutely smashing bird in a just stunning setting. I've named him Cliff......Cliff Bempton.
