Its that time of hear where the heather is stunning, it's just about at its peak, which is probably a little later that usual. I got lick with this particular bird as it jumped up on a fencepost just in front of me and stayed for a while. It bobbed about and stretched and yawned a bit before jumping down and then flying away. I think this is probably one of the best sets of images of red grouse I have taken on the Lammermuir Hills in the Scottish Borders.
