Taken on 02/03/2014
Taken at Brooklands Pleasure Park today. I've been trying all week to photograph the adult male 'rosy' Little Gull and today I struck gold (or pink) - whereas previous days it spent much of its time in the middle of the lake, today it came within a few feet, even resting on the water just below where we were standing. Here is the first of many shots taken today - being chased off by a much larger Black-headed Gull (Chroicocephalus ridibundus).
Equipment
Nikon D300s and Sigma 70-300mm.
