Have you ever drawn the living room curtains one morning to find a perfect print of a flying Tawny Owl in the dust on the exterior of your window? Well, this happened once to me, and was the inspiration behind this photo. Though it might not be for the wildlife photography purists, it is sometimes amazing what can be revealed if you play about a bit with the sliders in your editing software! I think it really shows off the birds magnificant plumage details - just in a different way.
