There are possibly three races of snipe in this picture. The two on the left are the Common Snipe - the nominate race Gallinago gallinago. The third from the left is Wilson's Snipe, now split as Gallinago delicata. The bird on the right is a much richer red/brown colour. This shows many of the features of faroeensis. This type breeds in Iceland, the Faeroes, Shetland and Orkney, wintering further south and is not uncommon on Scilly.
