A bird that used to be quite common many years ago but these days almost extinct in Northumberland. This is the first one that I have seen in the county for at least 15 years. Quite elusive on a very breezy afternoon but seen eventually singing from wires just West of the coastal path approx half mile North of Boulmer village, approaching Longhoughton Steel.

Nikon D500 with Sigma 150-600S + TC1401 converter.
