Taken on 08/07/2008
Flushed by my partner while unsucessfully searching for Heath Fritillary butterflies on a dull wet day at Bin Combe, SE of Dunkery Beacon near Porlock. The Nightjar flew a short distance before setting for a short while giving me just enough time to swap my Macro camera lens for my 300mm lens and grab 3 shots before it took off again and flew into undergrowth.
Equipment
Nikon D70 - 300mm handheld.
