The bird hovered continually in the slope lift produced by the sea cliff for up to two hours without a single flap of the wings whilst searching for prey and only occasionaly banking sufficciently to display the distinctive barring on the upper surface of the tail.
Equipment
Canon 5D DSLR, 400mm F2.8 telephoto lens and 2x converter.
