I photographed if from our caravan window at Looe, Cornwall. It appeared to be hunting for insects or worms - even though it is a large bird. We initially thought a juvinile buzzard but the coloring and shape appeared wrong and does not look like any of the British BOP that we know. We have since wondered whether it is a juvenile Honey Buzzard?
Equipment
Olympus Camedia C-720 Ultra Zoom. Equivalent settings; ISO 100. f5.6 @1/200sec. 51.2mm + 3x digital equivalent to approx 960mm lens on a 35mm camera.
