There was only 2 females seen, this ment you had to wait a while for them to fly down to the berries and even each feed session was short.
Another challenge was overcast conditions, and during December with already weak sunshine, this means that the alighting is very dull. Dispite all this I've still managed a few nice images.
Males tend to have brighter intense yellow and white showing on their wings, the fact that this chap has paler yellow and no white means it is a female.
