Presumed sub-adult Lesser White-fronted Goose (at around 5pm) from the Ponteland hide at Hauxley swimming across the far side of the lagoon. Size comparison here with a Greylag. Another observer later confirmed at least 1 bar across the belly. No rings seen. Later being elusive tending to dissapear for long periods into the edge of the field near the SW corner.
