Walking back along the footpath, a lone birder pointed this bird out. It was sat in willow and looked remarkably unobtrusive. It caught a couple of fish, each time returning to exactly the same position, annoyingly shrouded in twigs which I have removed. Only as the light really faded did it move to a more favourable position before flying off.
