Little Auks are among the most charismatic, unpredictable and entertaining visitors to the British Isles. A strong northerly blow, like that experienced this week, usually has birders scrambling for the coasts in anticipation of the arrival of these intrepid and brave alcids. As predicted, the past week produced a good influx of Little Auks to our North Sea coastlines. Here we share a selection of our favourite images from the past seven days, uploaded to the Iris galleries by BirdGuides contributors.
