Adjusting Sound Settings

If you are experiencing any problems with the sound quality, please make the following adjustments to the QuickTime sound settings:

1. Close the BirdGuides program if you have not done so already.
2. Select Start > Control panel in "Classic view".
3. Double-click the QuickTime "blue Q" icon:
   
   
4. Select the Audio tab and tick Safe Mode (waveOut only), then click OK:
   
   
   
   If your QuickTime Preferences window does not look like this, then you may need to download the latest QuickTime version.
5. Close the Control Panel window.
6. Rerun the BirdGuides program.
